Beach Bunny – Emotional Creature – WOOOOOOOW! Beach Bunny’s second and latest album, Emotional Creature, from a year ago (2022) is a bomb!  It’s as excellent as ever! Still as good as the first album and EPs by this Chicago (Illinois) band created by the magnificent and incredible Lili Trifilio. I worship this woman! From the first note to the last, this album makes me want to run, to jump, to cry, to embrace the Earth, to always have a taste for Life! The arrangements, the lyrics, the solos. No, that’s enough! Beach Weather – Chit Chat  (Music Review) This sounds more like pop than alternative.Nevertheless, there’s nothing wrong with that, unless you’re a stupid, ignorant anti-pop extremist. This is still a good indie pop band.  A very good EP with six engaging, enjoyable tracks. No problem listening to it two or three times in a row.https://www.beachweather.us/

Fitz and The Tantrums – More Than Just a Dream (2013) Haven’t finished listening to this album, but I will in a few minutes. I went through more than half of it and it’s Magic! Very Catchy, nice lyrics, wonderful female & male voices. It’s hard to be original, but the fact that he sings very Rock (in fact, he sounds like Robbie Williams!) and that she sings very soulful really makes a difference. Illuminati Hotties Live on AudioTree (2019) Finally ! I have finally listened to this 2019 live ! As always, for my favourite bands, words are missing ! Staggering & Outstanding are just a few that may fit. But it still doesn’t say much compared to what I would like to express. I don’t really know if this the female singer-guitarist’s solo project….But the music is just amazing. So Heartfelt, Powerful, Catchy. Always makes me feel so Happy ! Kukl – Eye These records, which are a mix of album and EP, are gems. Just for getting my hands on them, I’m going to give them 5 stars. Marina & The Diamonds – Froot (2015) “I’m not afraid of God I am afraid of man.” After a perfect album on the band’s debut, in 2010, and a second album almost as good in 2012, Marina has kept up the momentum and come up with this third album, which is really good. I think it’s the last one before she became just “Marina”. And it’s absolutely crazy, but it’s by losing “her Diamonds” that her music has also lost in quality.  In fact, I bought the first two albums and then kind of gave up on them. I love the first, but the second is slightly less good. So I was afraid of becoming more and more disappointed. And a while ago, I listened to the latest stuff she’s done. The songs were good, but nothing more. Nothing extraordinary. It became too pop in the wrong way. Today, I’ve got into this album and I’ve made the observations I’ve just mentioned above. Marina & The Diamonds should never have become just Marina.I don’t know exactly what happened. Especially as this has always been a solo project for the singer. It’s probably just a question of luck: yes, the diamonds brought her luck! And you shouldn’t just throw away something that lasts forever… https://marinaofficial.co.uk/

Pleasure Venom – Hunt (EP) This perfect EP was made 6 years ago and, to me, it’s Post-Punk at its Best ! Some Waltz in here, some Alternative there, some real Punk over there. I am really sad that this band disappeared. They made something like 14 songs, only one EP and no album. SAMIA – The Baby Very good album, great voice… but once again, it’s not really my style. So I can’t say it’s one of my favorite albums. But i may listen to it to relax or to paint sometime.https://www.samiaband.com/

Three Trapped Tigers – Numbers: 1-13  An instrumental album, not necessarily easy to listen to. There are some really weird moments for anyone who isn’t used to all kinds of music. Anyone who only listens to pop, radio and doesn’t like instrumentals, go the other way!Unless you want to discover. But do so at your own risk! An instrumental album, but one that uses vocals as harmonies at times. Jazzy moments, saturated rock. Lots of subtlety, moments that may seem unbearable. Even for me, who’s used to almost any musical style. The 13 tracks are named after their running numbers. In other words, track No. 1 is called 1, the second is called 2, and so on through to 13. The concept seems funny and quirky, but some people have to do it.
