Before I Wake (2016) (Review)

Before I Wake (2016) A truly subtle horror film! The film is very well made. A dream comes true. And I think it’s really well done. The story is really gripping. Beautiful images, including a great atmosphere created by the large butterflies at the beginning. The film contains several genres. On the one hand, the film is divided into horror scenes, which can be dark and scary, and on the other, dramatic scenes, but also fantasy. The effects are well realized.The parents are played by Kate Bosworth and Thomas Jane, who are very good in their roles. But it’s young Jacob Tremblay who is always an extraordinary element in every film he appears in. For me, he’s one of the best child actors. I’ve seen a lot of films like this, but I really like this one. There are too many films where you waste your time, but here there’s something for the heart and the eye and not just for thrills. Even my sister, who hates these kinds of films, liked this one.
