Happily Never After (2017) (Review)

Happily Never After (TV Movie 2017)  Synopsis: Two exes and best-selling authors are forced back together by their publisher for a sequel. Not to be confused with a film with the same title! The other is a thriller. I don’t like TV movies, but I wanted to see something light after seeing some heavy ones. But I have to admit that, despite the nice love stories that intertwine, there are no surprises in this kind of film. We already know what’s going to happen, more or less how it’s going to happen and how it’s going to end. Having said that, I can understand that lonely, desperate or elderly people can appreciate this kind of moment, which must seem beautiful and magical to them. Everyone needs to dream, one way or another. The actors do a pretty good job of it. Sometimes you think you understand why they’re only in TV films, other times you think they deserve a bit more notoriety. But I agree – Everyone needs to dream!
