Krampus (2015) Directed by Michael Daughtery. One of the numerous movies made with this Alpine folkloric Christmas demon. This film goes back to what Gremlins was… that is to say a horror film for children! In fact, there are even a few winks, like the mythical laughter at the end of the credits. And it’s also an evil Christmas tale. Alas, I saw it with my adult eyes! So I didn’t really like it.
Basically, despite the fact that there are good creatures, good moments, and very good scenes. I saw this film with my adult eyes, so I was not as amazed as I could have been in my childhood, or even adolescence.
It remains a good entertainment. The actors are decent and even good. Except for Toni Collette who is always excellent. There is a typical Happy Ending… but with a little bit of the dark side of a horror movie. Something I don’t approve of… but here, it’s fine.
