TV Girl’s third EP “Lonely Women” (2013)I’d reviewed a TV Girl album before. On “Maddie Acid’s Purple Hearts Club Band” to be exact. I said that “I’m certainly going to make enemies by claiming that this is one of the best hip-hop albums of all time. But that’s because I’m not a fan of this musical movement. On the other hand, I can listen to this album over and over again. It makes me happy.”I have a hard time understanding this band, except that they always have the ability to make me happy. Sometimes I get the impression that they’re a collective, with new surprise guests all the time. I’d hardly recognize them if I heard them anywhere but at home. It’s a weird feeling!

Actually, TV Girl is an American indie pop band. You can even download their work for free at: tvgirl.bandcamp.com .Once again, I’m repeating myself, but it just goes to show that these bands really don’t take themselves too seriously. That doesn’t detract from their quality. This is really fun music, creative, enjoyable, cool and so on. I’ve just listened to this EP and I’m listening to it again now, as I write this review. I may listen to it a third time later today. And probably again tomorrow. Maybe even after tomorrow…🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
