McKenzie Ellis, an excellent American singer born on March 12, 1995 in New York City, grew up in Oklahoma City and began producing music at the age of 18.Since 2015, she has produced a dozen albums and singles distributed on several online music streaming platforms such as Spotify, SoundCloud and Bandcamp.In June 2020, a TikTok video she posted featuring her song “VICES” went viral, giving her greater notoriety as a musician and singer.

After suffering from depression and self-harm, she turned to online communities after finding that expressing her difficulties in her hometown was taboo.

On January 29, 2011, Ellis attempted suicide. She has also been the victim of assault and domestic violence.

Although she wrote music as a child, Ellis didn’t want to be a professional musician. She began producing music for the public at the age of 18.

The concept is really cool.
But few things beat Mothica’s “real music”!
Her heartfelt, touching, deep, powerful songs are well worth getting to know.
I feel so sorry for the grumpy people who say that the old music was better. They don’t know how much these young talents are still saving the music we don’t hear on the radio or TV.
Besides, how can you claim to know anything about music when you only listen to these two media? And how can anyone claim to be intelligent or at the cutting edge of culture?

The 28-year-old Mothica has already written a fair share of Indie Pop – Indie Rock – Alt-Pop tracks, sometimes with Industrial or Alternative sounds, and so on. Long live her career!
