Very good! Kurt Russell, Patrick Wilson, Matthew Fox and David Arquette? The cast is already great! I didn’t know Richard Jenkins and I particularly liked him too, at least here. I wouldn’t have heard of this film, I think, if a cousin hadn’t told me about it.

A gripping, enjoyable film… but with one truly atrocious scene, just one scene that makes me understand why it’s rated as Horror, outside the Western. So, as with American History X or Reservoir Dogs, as soon as you think of this film, you immediately have this scene in mind.

The scene lasts almost a minute. It’s quite shocking. But… it’s mainly to show how violent and savage some Indians were… and that they weren’t all massacred without being able to defend themselves. A bit like Inglorious Bastards, which shows that Nazis were also tortured. Anyway…
