Rubber (2010) This film follows the adventure of a killer tire! Too bad! Shame!!! Another short film… that should have been even shorter. A short film would have been perfect! 5 stars !!! But here…There is a : An excellent, gripping beginning!

Much better than other films with other killer objects. Yes, the first quarter-hour is great, it goes without music, the dialogue is good and so is the humor. And throughout the film, there are some laugh-out-loud moments.

A twisted idea around which a whole crazy, zany world is woven. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of long takes. Far too many! And that’s what kills the film. The gore isn’t necessarily disturbing, since it’s something I hate, but I didn’t mind it in this film. It goes with the silly, nonsensical universe. And yet, there’s plenty of wit! It drags on and on, but it’s fun to see once!
