Hijacked (2017) (Film Review)

Hijacked (2017) also known as Altitude is an action thriller directed by Alex Merkin, staring Dolph Lungren and Denise Richards.

“Phew! At last!” I said to myself as soon as the film ended. The credits are halfway up and I’ve already got my review ready to go. Yes, because I was able to fully refine it during the film. Denise Richards and Dolph Lundgren are not in the roles I had imagined them in this film. I was slightly surprised by this… but it’s the only small surprise in the film.

A real B-movie! It’s good to see these two actors again, but only partially, as the film is so bad. The first 20 minutes are brilliant. Or brilliantly perfect! But the next hour drags on and on. For a high-altitude action movie, it’s pretty much a failure! What’s more, the French title already sucks! I t was already off to a bad start. When you’ve actually seen the brilliant “Passenger 57”, you already have a good idea of what’s going to happen. We hope to find the same sensations, palpitations and excitement…Alas, we’re a long way from that! Miles from earth!
