Saint Etienne – London Conversations Album · 2011 l’Édition Deluxe est sorti en 2017. Saint Etienne is an indie dance/indie pop trio formed in Croydon, England, in 1990. The band was founded by journalist Bob Stanley (born December 25, 1964) and Pete Wiggs (born May 15, 1966) in Croydon, UK, in January 1990. After recording two singles with guest vocalists, Sarah Cracknell (born April 12, 1967 in Chelmsford, Essex) joined the band as a full member.

The band is named after a French soccer team. The name comes from the club AS Saint-Étienne. Saint Etienne is one of the bands that defined the Indie Dance genre of the early 90s, fusing the production values of dance-pop that emerged in the wake of the Second Summer of Love with the intelligent lyrics and self-aware production of indie music.

The Best of Saint Etienne is a compilation album by English electronic music group Saint Etienne. It is released as a single CD, a 2CD box set, a deluxe 2CD/DVD box set (packaged in a hardback book) and on 2LP vinyl. An overview of all Saint Etienne’s masterpieces, plus videos. It’s a shame this intelligent pop group isn’t better known! They would have deserved it.

For me, if you can’t buy all their albums, it’s ideal to have at least this gem of a band that did wonders with Indie pop, House, Synth-pop, electronica and also Trip Hop. The band has released ten studio albums, two soundtrack albums, nine compilation albums, two remix albums, seven mix albums, two video albums, one box set, four extended plays, 38 singles (including one as a guest artist) and five promotional singles. Yes, that’s it! Sarah, Bob & Pete really are a power trio!!!!
