The Mirror – Oculus (2013) Written on 19. January 2018 by Bibo . Katee Sackhoff: excellent actress! Karen Gillan too! It’s great to see her real face, because in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, she’s unrecognisable. Brenton Thwaites is great too!On the downside: the incessant flashbacks are interesting, but end up losing the rhythm.

As a result, the tension drops before rising to new heights.The scariest film since Conjuring? Unfortunately not, no! Admittedly, I’m going to look at my mirrors differently, but I’m not necessarily going to turn on the lights tonight, because this film isn’t going to keep me from sleeping soundly.

The plot is interesting, as are the girl’s theories and her speech, which makes her convinced of her theory. Her brother’s disbelief is welcome.The ending is also rather subtle, although it leaves a bitter taste.

In the end, I’m rather stunned by the film’s heaviness and oppression.And even the music during the end credits bored me. I preferred to put on some Lily Allen for my review!
