V/H/S (2012) (Film Review)

V/H/S (2012) Rather unsuccessful, alas! Written on 30. December 2016 by BiboZ

Several directors, including Ti West, who had also done the letter M in the first “ABC of Death”, as well as the very good “The House of the Devil”. A film that’s a sort of potpourri of horror movies!

There’s Paranormal Activity, Possession, Vampire…Nothing really original. There are some good ideas here, but they’re poorly managed and badly constructed. The hand-held camera, pioneered by the overrated Blair Witch Project, doesn’t hit the mark every time. There were moments in the film when we should have abstained. All in all, I’m not too keen to see the rest of this film. Maybe if I motivate myself for the pleasure of reviewing it!
