Girl In Red – If I Could Make It Go Quiet (2021) I read this comment: When I told my friends I’d started listening to Girl in Red, they said ‘Wait, you’re bi and you listen to Girl in Red? Dude, you’re adding to the stereotype!’ I’d be hard pressed to give this album a bad rating, it’s so incredible.

A real gem!I had a great time listening to it. And I’m asking for more. I could listen to it a second time. And a third time tomorrow! Marie Ulven Ringheim, born 16 February 1999, is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and producer, known by her stage name Girl in Red. She is attributed to Indie Pop and is also described as a ‘queer icon’. Frankly… what an artist! She fits right in with the best of indie pop.

From the Serotonin intro to the instrumental conclusion, via powerful, incredible tracks like You Stupid Bitch, Rue and I’ll Call You Mine… No, really! Note that song 9 has no title! Great lyrics, great energy, great arrangements, full of great ideas. I wish Marie, the Girl in Red, a long and successful career.
