Mission: Possible (2021) (Korean: 미션 파서블) is a 2021 South Korean action comedy film written and directed by Kim Hyung-joo. Based on Bruce Geller’s Mission: Impossible series, the film stars Lee Sun-bin and Kim Young-kwang in the lead roles.
The story follows the antics of secret agent Da-hee and a former special agent turned private detective Soo-han. The film was released in South Korea on 17 February 2021. A very interesting culture!
At first, I thought these people were overacting. But the more the film progressed, the more I bought into the humour. And I love hearing these Asian languages. They’re quite pleasant to my ears. It’s a nice, entertaining film, packed with action and humour. There’s violence too, of course, but it’s passable and nothing worse than we’ve already seen, it seems to me. The duo of Lee Sun-bin and Kim Young-kwang works very well.
What a great partnership! The film’s cover is misleading… because the actress hardly ever wears this chic outfit. Instead, she’s wearing a red dress. It’s far from being a masterpiece, but it passes the time well.
