Collateral (2004) I saw it written somewhere (on a site that sells DVDs) that Max, the main character in the film, wants to be a scriptwriter? When in fact he wants to set up a limousine company! Have the content writers even seen the film? Oh yes… if not… the film is first class!

It’s a wild ride! After the relatively sensational Heat, Michael Mann has once again succeeded in delivering an exceptional thriller. And once again, you feel a great deal of sympathy for the villain at times.

Of course I want to vote for this film 😉 It’s very good and the choice of actors is also perfect, both exceptional.
You enter Vincent and Max’s world and the tension between them. I never thought it would be so incredibly exciting and captivating! Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx play each other to perfection. And just seeing Tom as the villain makes the film worthwhile.

I read this comment: “Connoisseurs of Michael Mann’s “Heat” should pay attention to where Collateral begins and ends…” “I’ve never considered that there might be a link between the two. Check it out…To be seen! The way L.A. is staged, lit and fixed on celluloid makes every second of this Michael Mann film worth seeing!”

The dialogue and music give the film a pretty incredible atmosphere. As the entire film was shot using only digital cameras, you can really feel the L.A. night with this top-notch thriller. Ah… the city, the actors’ facial expressions… a masterpiece!

This film even appealed to people who hate Tom Cruise! That’s saying something. Now, I’m not saying that everyone will like it. No film manages to do that. In fact, sometimes it’s strange that opinions are so different…
For my part, I found this film very entertaining right up to the end.
