Air Panic (2001) Ha ha ha!!! This is a failed film. It’s hard to take this film seriously. It’s really bad and has the air of a TV film, all the while being a B series. But the actors do their best. There are some good ideas and the story is cool enough to be worthy of a film like Speed. That said, the special effects are bad and there are plenty of moments where you’re laughing because you don’t believe it. If you don’t like typical American films, it’s obvious that you’re not even going to watch even ten minutes. Basically, the flight simulations and special effects are so ridiculous, the actors are acceptable, the story is good, but nothing new or revolutionary. Any cheap flight simulation software had better graphics back then!

Kristanna Loken and Ted Shackelford are on board! It seems to me that Loken is used to very bad films and that’s a shame. His finest hour was supposed to be in Terminator 3. As for Shackelford, he was best known for his role in Dallas in the late 70s and early 80s. He played the brother of J.R. and Bobby Ewing. He then moved on to Knots Landing (translated into West Coast in French!) before reappearing in the new Dallas, New Generation. It’s good to see these two again, but we have to admit that we won’t remember their performances here. Or the film, for that matter.
