It’s hilarious. Ahhhhhhh! Oh dear! Not only is it a TV film, it also stars Dominique Swain! It could only be bad! What’s more, the Babysitter theme is often badly exploited. It either turns into prostitution, Les Babysitters (2007), or horrific psychopathy, Babysitter Wanted (2008).

Well, there’s always a side, or even several sides, to TV films that are very ridiculous. But the actors aren’t too bad and the suspense can be very stressful at times. So it’s not all doom and gloom! The main couple are very endearing and both are excellent dancers. The psychopath is annoying as hell. The children are adorable. Well… the girls! As for the boy, he’s a terrible actor. There’s always that naïve side to TV films that stays on the side of Hollywood happy endings. Which is nice from time to time, at a time when so many films end badly and the criminals get away with it.

Bon, il y a toujours un côté, voire plusieurs, très ridicule dans les films pour la télé. Mais les acteurs ne sont pas ultra mauvais et le suspense peut être très stressant, par moment. Donc, tout n’est pas à jeter ! Le couple principal est très attachant et tous les deux sont d’excellents danseurs. Le psychopathe est malaisant à souhait. Les enfants sont adorables. Enfin… les fillettes ! Le garçon, lui, joue ultra mal. Il y a toujours ce côté naïf dans les téléfilms qui reste du côté des happy end hollywoodienne. Ce qui fait plaisir de temps à temps, à l’heure où tant de films se terminent mal et où les criminels s’en sortent.
