Triangle (2009) I’m close to giving it 5 stars… and maybe I will after I finish this review. It’s true that this film deserves them. Everything is thought out to the last detail… or almost! There are still some moments that are a bit big or incoherent. But they put so much effort into the script that this film borders on a masterpiece.
Very interesting story, quite good actors, incredible lead actress in this role. Melissa George does really well. The film goes from surprise to surprise and keeps adding touches that keep surprising. Even when you think “Ah… the next shot, I can feel it coming”, there is still the next shot. No extreme violence, no too much blood compared to all the catastrophic films that base everything on that.
This film doesn’t really have an ending, but it creates a loop that shows that, in some dimensions, time is probably just running. That is to say, to make it look like it’s going forward, but in reality it’s just going backwards. In short! You have to see it to understand it.Time is probably just spinning, not really running.
