Wow!!! I hesitated to put four stars, but I think I can without further ado put 5. This film is really great. It has everything I find rare: no length, a good plot, excellent actors. I wasn’t bored for a second. Ultra rare for me, I tell you! Just wow! Only the female character is perhaps a little uncharismatic. But never mind!

Sir Anthony Hopkins is a sacred monster, a giant of cinema, one of those actors who can save a film even if it sucks. He has the ability. Jeffrey Dean Morgan in an unusual role. He’s always detestable, but here he’s a loyal cop. He’s a bit like Kevin Bacon and Robert De Niro: even when he’s playing a good guy, it’s hard to believe! An actor with extraordinary charisma.

As for Abbie Cornish, I adore her. There’s something very strong about her. She’s really great, here as elsewhere. Here, she has a great role. As for Colin Farrell, I’m not after him. But he’s capable of superb performances. In this film, his very interesting role is very well interpreted.

A solid five stars.

Rating: 5 out of 5.
