Wyrmwood: Apocalypse (2021) Honestly, I liked it! The more it went on, the more I enjoyed it. The big problem for me was once again the extreme violence. The more the film progresses, the more violent it is. It has to be!!! And for me, the limit is too often crossed.
Seeing all this mixture of slime and blood, big double little metal bars stuck in the nose and especially the guts, entrails that fall out of the perforated belly… it spoils my pleasure.
But seeing a good Zombie movie, it’s fun. Plus, there are the hybrids here. Half human, half zombie who have to take vials of blood every time they have a seizure that makes them uncontrollable.
The ending leaves room for a possible sequel. But I didn’t know that this film is already a sort of sequel to a film that was made in the early 2010s. 2014 to be precise.
In general, sequels are not as good. Whether that’s the case with these films remains to be seen.
I enjoyed the characters and the cast in general.
I liked the fact that at the beginning, something happens… and you think that from the next scene, there will be a good in the past or a good in the future. But it’s not. What happens at the beginning is parallel to what we see afterwards.
Don’t worry: this is not a spoiler I’m revealing here.
