What a pleasure it was… to see the movie end!!!!

I honestly found no interest in this movie.

Except to rinse my eyes by seeing Amber Heard naked for the whole movie, sleeping with as many people as possible. Not much of a reason to see a movie!

I thought it was going to be about a rock band… but, in the end, we only see them once on stage, once making a video clip. 

The rest of the film is very monotonous. We see them in bed waking up or making love, we see them answering the phone, we see them doing coke, being unfaithful, sleeping again, answering the phone again or then phoning someone. Then they do coke again, argue, go to bed or sleep with someone, before sleeping and doing coke again. Actually… my text sounds more interesting than the film!!!

Another interesting thing about the film is seeing all these actors together in the same movie: Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Mickey Rourke, Winona Ryder, Rhys Ifans. The lesser-known actors do more or less well. But no one transcends the screen. When Kim and Winona, stars of the 80’s and 90’s respectively, found themselves in this 2008 film… it sounded a bit like the end !

By the way, Kim Basinger is reunited with Mickey Rourke… but both have lost much of their charm & charisma. And they’re not in any scenes together. It would have been much more fun & interesting to see Mickey Mouse here. 

Even Chris Isaak is in this film. 

He probably thought he could become an actor after his appearance in Friends! 

Anyway! 

This time, I’m not necessarily going to criticize the director, Gregor Jordan. 

I’ll give him another chance and see one or two of his other films. But if they’re just as bad, I’ll give up on him.
