Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)

This Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake with Jessica Biel is NOT a good movie! It’s totally crap and pretty lame!

The more the film progresses, the more it gains in quality… and yet not enough to be even a not bad film. It has to be said that it starts off so badly. The killer is laughable, because yes, he is a madman, a dangerous psychopath… but frankly, he has nothing going for him! Clumsy, he looks like a big jerk and you can only laugh with his chainsaw that he waves around. Where Scream has humour and subtlety, this film has absolutely none. Where Saw has a moral, this film has none.

For me, the film doesn’t know if it should definitely be a gore comedy or not. The dialogue is really bad, the believability is bad, and so is the pace of the film. The script is so badly done that even Jessica Biel comes across as a bad actress, even though she is excellent.

That’s saying a lot!
