A good Cage film in which Nicolas doesn’t mess around!
He plays himself and there are plenty of nods to his other films.
All great actors should make this kind of film and go through this kind of delirium.
Not just Jean-Claude Van Damme, who was also very decent.
The film is good… so three stars!
It’s neither excellent nor very good.
I wish there’d been a nod to 8 MM too.
There’s too much action for those who just want to see a comedy.
But the humour is scathing. A few good laughs to be expected.
And some truly legendary scenes, with incredible dialogue.
But the film’s length and tediousness got the better of it to the point where it was relegated to the category of good films. But frankly, it’s not so bad!
Nicolas Cage, totally true to form.
And Pedro Pascal, a very pleasant surprise !
