No Good Deed (2002) is a 2002 American crime thriller film directed by Bob Rafelson, his last feature film. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, Milla Jovovich, Stellan Skarsgård and Doug Hutchison.
Unfortunately, No Good Deed is another film that wastes our time!
Totally agree with badboybill’s review on CeDe.com: “This was the worst Samuel L. Jackson film I’ve ever been allowed to see. Incredibly weak, rubbish. No tension, no action.”
In fact, the first 20 minutes hypnotise you. It’s hard to take your eyes off the film. But after half an hour, you’re bored out of your mind. There’s always a plot twist. You don’t know who’s going to betray who, who’s going to end up how. But it quickly becomes tiresome, because it’s done without any subtlety.
The actors are good, even excellent… but that’s really not enough!
