I Know Who Killed Me (2007) is a horror-thriller starring Lindsay Lohan.

I’m going to explore all the angles of this film. I think, even if you’re not a fan of Lindsay Lohan, you can find this movie exciting, even funny at the same time for the more twisted. We’ve heard nothing but bad things about this film, but I was still looking forward to it! Lindsay had already managed to convince on several occasions, and here she was for the first time in a Hitchcock horror thriller. Ironically, you could say it’s “pure suspense!”

Why? Because this film has bad reviews, lousy reviews on some sites, almost no theatres that showed it, and a lead actress who did time during the promotion… so everything to make a great film! “I Know Who Killed Me” can also be seen as one of the worst films, as a sleeping pill. You can see: bad plot, bad script, bad actors. The only reason to watch this movie is Lindsay Lohan’s stripper dance to great music. It can be seen as very captivating too.

For my part, I find this feature film a bit confusing with a story that is certainly partially exciting but doesn’t achieve its tour de force. I have seen many horror films, and this one is very average. Certainly not that bad. I think the idea is pretty good, and the direction is not bad at all either. But the story is illogical, and apart from 2-3 supposedly shocking scenes, the film can seem totally boring.

Having gone down all these roads, I’ll make my conclusion now. The film is good, at least for the first hour. Then it starts to drag at the end during the last half hour. Not an essential film. To be seen if you have nothing else to watch. But yes: Lindsay Lohan is really convincing.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.
