End of the line (2007)

No, I can’t give this film a single chance!

Although the beginning has one or two interesting or nice moments, the film sinks pretty quickly. The Christian song in the end credits is pretty good too, but that’s where it ends!

The first quarter-hour is packed with jump scares, because that’s the only way this film has found to scare us. And that’s saying something!

There are some disgusting scenes, the ending gets worse and worse, the actors are far from good, the story is ridiculous and the direction leaves something to be desired.

It’s safe to say that it’s a real bummer!

A cheap little thriller that aims to be thrilling, but whose direction isn’t very convincing. Yes, I really wonder if the director has studied anything in cinema.

A horror film that was supposed to be innovative and critical of society, thrilling, with good shock elements, a bit of gore and credible actors. But it’s quite the opposite!

It seems that most of the writers here have no idea what a good horror film is!
Sadly…
Sad!

The story could have been sensational, but this direction is beyond rubbish. They should have invested a bit more money…

Should you see this film if you’re stoned? In case you still don’t know, films that are only good when you’re stoned aren’t good films. Just like this one! Basta!!!

My condolences to this film, which fortunately was not a hit. Personally, I prefer films that you can enjoy without having your head in the clouds.

There’s nothing great about this one, although it’s meant to be different from the usual films. It’s not refreshing at all! Another film destined for the dustbin. Another one!

Of course, if you love seeing a cheap little film with mediocre, rarely good and unconvincing amateur actors and equally mediocre amateurs behind the camera, go and see it! But for me, it’s not scary, just annoying.

Long live blasphemy!
This film hits hard at psychopathic Christian killers who think they can free the souls of sinners by taking their lives. No one, and I mean no one, had done this job as remarkably as Dolph Lundgren in Johnny Mnemonic (1995). In fact, in my opinion, he was the film’s greatest attraction.

Well, it could have been a bitter social critique, but then you’d have to show that! It seems rather sectarian and nerve-wracking. At most, this film made me yawn with boredom. Really only for die-hard fans of the genre. And at the end, the director and his team clearly didn’t know how to end the film. It’s the stupidest ending I’ve seen in a long time. If anyone knows what that means… explain it here!

Packed with inconsistencies and full of unanswered questions, ‘End of the line’ is somewhere between a B series and a Z series! I’m going to call it a C series, although I don’t know if it actually exists!

Rating: 0.5 out of 5.
