Very good movie… but alas… I’m not convinced of the ending. It starts to drag on and lose subtlety.
Very unfortunate!
Rather excellent casting:
Henry Cavill, the new Superman in the movies, is here in the role of a rather ballsy cop, not very talkative and trying to remain a good father.
Ben Kingsley, finally in a role I enjoyed. He plays an ex-judge turned vigilante. Hounded by the police because of his methods and pursuing all sex offenders.
Alexandra Daddario, perfect, here, in her role of a profiler trying to understand a schizophrenic as well as possible.
Stanley Tucci : actor I don’t know, who plays a very boorish commissioner… who doesn’t hesitate to ask his men to kill criminals rather than arrest them.
Nathan Fillion, the main actor of the excellent series Castle, here, in a small role too short, but probably necessary to the film.
And, finally, Brendan Fletcher, used to the role of big bad, especially since the Rampage trilogy, which made him famous in a role of one of the characters who killed the most innocent people.
A good crime thriller. Not too disappointing movie, despite an ending that I would have preferred a bit more interesting.
That’s all for this movie.
