Apparently also known in Germany as: Don’t go in the Woods – Es wartet auf dich! (which means it’s waiting for us).

Not to be confused with Vincent D’Onofrio’s “Don’t go in the Woods.”

At first, I thought that John Woodruff didn’t seem to have made any other films that had caused a stir and that this was probably the only one he had made or the only one that had been released on DVD. And that’s very understandable… given that it’s complete rubbish!

Indeed, it’s much easier to make a Top 1000 list of the worst movies than it is to make a list of masterpieces. The only difficulty would be figuring out who would be at the top! This movie is pretty well placed and has everything it takes to be a failure and bad.

But, in fact, John Woodruff is an actor and producer. He is also known for Fear the Dead and Lockbox (both from 2017). You get the picture: I clearly don’t want to see them!

Unlikable characters played by bad actors, a ridiculous story, a weak man, a macho guy with little conscience. Add to that young women who are liberated without limits, who play with their charms, but who once again give a bad image of easy and hateful feminism. Because it’s not as if they are good people. Especially when one forces infidelity and the other erases important evidence filmed with a camera.

And why do we watch this kind of movie? Mainly for the monster? As usual, we hardly see it, and when we discover its story, it’s a disappointment too.

This movie has nothing going for it! Everything about it is detestable, insipid, bland. It was very hard to get through. After finishing my review, I’m going to quickly start another movie to forget about this one.

The cover is misleading! I’ll tell you right now: don’t expect to actually find a dinosaur in this dud.

Heather Tom is the only actress I knew here, but she’s not even on screen for five minutes. She was in soap operas such as The Bold and the Beautiful and The Young and the Restless. She’s a great actress, I liked her at the time, anyway. I’m not sure what she was doing here.

Christine Donlon is probably the only one here who has enough charisma to stand out from the crowd. I’ll remember her name and probably give her a 0.5, as well as the very end, which isn’t entirely meaningless. But everything is so poorly done that nothing is worth seeing or enduring. Move on and save your precious time!
