Meh… Meh… Meh…
Pretty rubbish!
There are some really good scenes, but they’re quickly ruined by implausible and far too over-the-top sequences. The heroine’s movements are completely surreal.
And they could have come up with a better plot than a face cream… which makes the character played by Sharon Stone almost indestructible. I say ‘almost’ – it’s the moment she realises she’s ugly again that dooms her. That says it all!
What’s more, Catwoman isn’t Selina Kyle here. Nor is her daughter, Holly Robinson. So, nothing’s really faithful to the comics. And her costume… frankly, it’s only there to be ultra-sexy. When you’re a superhero, the aim is to have a costume that protects you, but which shows off your almost naked body.
Halle Berry does well, but is poorly directed. Just like Sharon, for that matter.
As for Lambert Wilson, he’s good at playing despicable blokes… but for those who didn’t think he was a good actor to begin with, this isn’t the film that was going to make him any more credible. And even though he’s a French actor, director and singer, this isn’t the film that was going to make him break through in Hollywood!
Once again, one word sums it all up: What a shame!!!

As a long-time fan of Marvel/DC, and especially of Catwoman, I’m absolutely disappointed by this film. Michelle Pfeiffer was, and clearly remains, the best Catwoman. And I find it so ridiculous that people who’ve never taken an interest in comics claim this is the best film adaptation of a comic!! It just makes me laugh!!

This film is by no means average. It’s far too boring and simply bad on every level. But what on earth could have persuaded Halle Berry to get involved in such a project? Money, no doubt.
- CATWOMAN
At best, this film can be considered average. Apart from Halle Berry, it doesn’t have much to offer. The plot is anything but successful and the action scenes are a bit too few and far between. It focuses too much on the story instead of simply providing good entertainment.
- ‘Popcorn cinema’?
It seems that’s the new buzzword for rubbish films. The popcorn would have got stuck in my throat if I’d had any to hand whilst watching this disgrace.
- Believe me!
Despite all the negative reviews, I forced myself to watch this film. What an ordeal! A complete waste of time!
Well, without Halle Berry, this film would be absolutely worthless! At least there’s still a bit of erotic spice thanks to this sexy actress.
Otherwise, I’m very disappointed by the story. A real fiasco for an actress of her calibre!

It’s the worst film I’ve seen in years. Boring as hell, tacky special effects, and I don’t even want to get started on Halle Berry… She may well be showing as much skin as possible in the role of Catwoman, but she’ll never hold a candle to Michelle Pfeiffer, who was almost entirely clothed. Absolutely rubbish!

It’s by far the biggest flop of all the comic book adaptations.

The film isn’t really worth watching.
Halle Berry was crowned ‘worst-dressed woman’ for this film – that says it all. Otherwise, you can always watch the film to make up your own mind.
