Meh…

Who would’ve thought this came out in the last four years? Is this really from 2022??

Seriously, everything’s going to hell!
This is probably the latest DC animated feature to come out… and it’s one of the worst I’ve ever seen!
I didn’t like the Japanese influence in this cartoon.
I’m not anti-American, unlike so many people.

There are some scenes that are ridiculous. Like when they’re counting how many guys they take out to see who can knock out the most. The idea is funny, but here, it just doesn’t work. Because the rest of the movie is pretty bad, too.

That said, I’m glad I saw it once, but it’s definitely not one I’d want to watch again. I probably would have loved it when I was younger. But Batwoman isn’t likable at all. Plus, she lets herself be pathetically seduced by Catwoman, just to show that it’s trendy, that Batman isn’t the only one who can be seduced by her. It’s as if there had to be a “lesbianism quota” to be politically correct. Again, it’s not that the idea itself is bad, but it’s totally implausible given Batwoman’s cold personality here. I don’t really know her, but I think I definitely prefer Batgirl.

All these characters are awesome in the DC Super Hero Girls cartoons. Including Cheetah! Even though she’s not bad, all things considered.

The idea of a masquerade ball with people dressed up as all sorts of famous characters (Batman, the Joker, the Riddler…) is fun, but we would have preferred to see the real ones.
