Rupture (2016) is an American science fiction thriller directed by Secretary (2002) director Steven Shainberg.
Oh Dear! What a shame!!! Warning: Huge Spoiler. Don’t read if you want to watch it!
A movie that starts out Thriller-like. Then it goes into horror, and you think it’s renewing the Saw genre. After that, it veers off into Science Fiction! Noomi Rapace delivers an impressive performance as a Badass, which is a refreshing change! This actress always goes beyond her limits; she’s incredible.
Peter Stormare plays the insufferable, obnoxious villain, yet he is also intelligent. He’s a cultured actor for these roles, but he should take care of his mental health. It might be wise for him to play the role of a good cop or a good father to avoid sinking permanently to the dark side of the Force!
The film is full of information about life! It’s clear that countering our deepest fears and facing them head-on can help us resolve and deal with them. However, too much fear can also kill…
And are Reptilians among us? Was the V series avant-garde? I was eagerly awaiting the ending to see if this movie was going to be a masterpiece, but it was pretty lame. It took the film from good to… just not bad! Another film where the cover makes sense once you’ve seen it.
