Even if, here, she plays a seductive bitch, the whole film is about money, power and manipulation. Rosamund goes head-to-head with her mother, Lena Olin. Her mother is a well-known actress, her daughter a newcomer. Both want to keep their success without being in the other’s shadow. How far can you go for that?

Jennifer Lawrence has a small, almost insignificant role here.

Too bad, because it’s always a pleasure to see her.

A film I didn’t really like, because you don’t really know where you stand, you don’t always understand the characters’ reactions, you don’t really understand everything that’s going on. And what happens in the film isn’t the kind of subject that really interests me.
