Escape Room (2019) is horror and thriller film also known as Escape Game in European releases.

For my part, I really liked it. It’s better than the Escape Room film made in 2017. The characters are likeable, the actors do well, the plot holds together.

After that, the very end is exactly the ingredients for ‘if it works, there’ll be a sequel’! Now we know there will be one. Will it save the questions we’re asking and answer them? Or will it sink both films at once?

There are a lot of twists and turns in this film…. but there are one or two too many. As a result, by the time I’d figured it all out and found it subtle, I found it twisted and complex enough to drop my thoughts, given that the scriptwriters must also have lost their way, but don’t want to lose face.

Hopefully the sequel will tell us all!

Escape Room 2 – Tournament Of Champions (2021)

It’s up to you to decide. For me, it’s done : I’ve seen it…

Okay!
If you’re looking for mindless entertainment, a video game or cartoon atmosphere… then you’ve come to the right place for the right film!

If you want to think, if you want to understand, if you’re looking for logic… then this is the kind of film to avoid.

I enjoyed the first one, I enjoyed this one… but because I’m a pretty good audience. At least at the time, because afterwards I can see and feel that I’ve been taken for a big fool!
No, but we’ve been waiting for some answers here. That’s why we wanted to see this second film. But instead, it’s the same old stuff all over again! Even if the traps and settings are different, it’s exactly the same gag all over again. So… either it’s going to be a trilogy with an answer at last…

Or they’re going to make 9 or 10 of them, like with the Saw films, and they’ll just get more and more rubbish!
Or are they going to try and make as many of them as James Bond films?
Whatever happens… Good luck to you all!
