The Hoarder (2015)

The Hoarder (2015) is a film in which I was quite bored. That’s the last straw for a horror thriller.

In fact, every time something good happens in this film, it’s quickly ruined by something bad or something stupid. I’m sick and tired of these movies full of inconsistencies. I too can make a film by putting all the ideas that come to mind. It won’t necessarily be a watchable film !

Moreover, it’s relatively badly acted. You can see that Mischa Barton is trying hard… but she just shouldn’t have gotten involved in this story. As a result, she loses even more credibility, as she’s never been in an incredible film. She’s even been in some really bad movies like this one and we can also add Apartment 1303.

Well, yes… she was in the very good Paranoid and the excellent The Sixth Sense. But I can’t remember her at all, because she really didn’t make any impression on me. One thinks of Bruce Willis, Toni Collette, Haley Joel Osment for the latter and Jessica Alba for the former… but absolutely not of Mischa ! Anyway, Even if I see five amazing movies with her from now on, I think she’ll hardly make my top 20 best actresses list.

The Hoarder sucks as a title, because it’s ultimately about very little storage. It’s not a psychological film, just a low budget horror film that has totally sunk into ridiculousness. It’s like a Human Centipede prequel!

The very bad Tom Six has managed to inspire other poor directors. Yes, the world is really going bad it seems !!!
