Happy New Year (2011) Yesss! I think Garry Marshall is as good a director as Richard Curtis. For the record, Gary is the man who brought Julia Roberts and Richard Gere together in two films. Indeed, I was hoping to feel again what I felt for Love Actually (2003) and, here, it worked! I finally felt those emotions again. And I had just seen it on the first day of this year 2018. What a great start!

An excellent film, it moved me. Yet I don’t feel like a fan of romantic comedies. Anyone can change and it’s the fools who never change their minds. Anyway…It’s a real pleasure to see so many good or well-known actors. Robert De Niro, Abigail Breslin, Halle Berry, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sarah Jessica Parker, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Sienna Miller, Zac Efron and Sofía Vergara…And that’s just the beginning! The stories are great. One of the best choral films of its kind. If you don’t like this genre, move on and take refuge in films that are black, violent, dark and hopeless! S

ome were disappointed, expecting better after Valentine’s Day (2010) – which featured Taylor Swift in the cast! – and didn’t like certain stories or characters. Yes, Bon Jovi has a role and you’d think he’d be totally wrong, but of course it’s all a matter of taste… and there’s something for everyone. Some of the plots are probably a bit far-fetched. Nevertheless, there were plenty of laughs and reunions with many stars. Popcorn cinema for all the family, then, and very enjoyable to watch. If you’ve never celebrated New Year’s Eve in New York, you should at least see this film! Beautiful, and not just in the second half of December 🙂 You can see it anytime. Thank you all and Happy New Year! Yes, even to the grumpy ones!
