Night Swim (2024) (Film Review)

Night Swim (2024) If you watch all the horror movies, you end up afraid of everything!
With It Follows, you could even start to be afraid of having sex!

With Slotherhouse (which is just as bad as Cocaine Bear/Crazy Bear), you can start mistaking Sloths for dangerous animals. With The Mist, you can definitely be afraid of fog. And don’t forget with Chucky, Robert or M3GAN of dolls, and so on.

Here, it’s a horror movie with a swimming pool.
So… if you already have a problem with that, don’t watch it!

Well… anyway, this film is very bad. It’s a real shame. It’s based on a short film (I don’t know what it’s worth, whether it’s better or the same).

The poetic side of the film is very nice, but saves nothing, alas. It’s too badly directed, too badly acted at times, too surreal to be believed for even a minute.

Everything scary borders on the ridiculous.
I would have loved to have loved this film, but I was really bored.

Waste of time for those who like or dislike horror films. Not gory, violent or scary enough for fanatics, totally unrealistic for the rest.

Only the music in the end credits is really good.
And that’s saying something!
