Wire – Pink Flag was released in November 1977. A MUST for fans of the band! A punk milestone, a record you love right away: 20 (2 more on the cd) bursts that rarely last more than 2 minutes (the famous “Ex Lion Tamer” is one of the exceptions!), with choruses that will stay in your head for the rest of your life!

Incidentally, one of the few (the only? No, there’s also the Damned, the Stranglers, Killing Joke and so on…) 77 bands to have survived and evolved towards different sounds. A killer debut album!

No, Wire isn’t necessarily Punk or New Wave. Simply Wire. A rock band that sometimes sounds like Fugazi and Guided by Voices.

Twenty-one gorgeous tracks that sound broken and unfinished, and are simply finished as soon as the idea runs out. Whether after four minutes or 30 seconds. Conclusion: Wire is simply essential!
