Scary Tales: Dead Zone (2023) (Film Review)

Scary Tales: Dead Zone (2023) A film so slow that I had to watch it at 1.25X speed.If you have to watch a film at speed, it must be bad. And that’s putting it mildly! The film doesn’t even reach 90 minutes, even though you’d think it was much longer.

Badly acted, the actors are too theatrical, so it’s not at all natural. Another film for those learning English. Although… in the second story, it’s already much better. The third too… but none of the actors is transcendent, that’s for sure.

The suspense is laughable. You could say there really isn’t any. Okay, it’s a low-budget film, but that doesn’t excuse much, in the end. There are amateurs out there who do better effects, much better tricks than this. The image becomes blurred at a certain point. I’m not talking about the moment when it’s deliberate, but the other moment.

The colour of the film looks like a TV movie. Everything about this independent film sucks. Even the ending, even the music. It easily joins all the worst horror anthologies without a care in the world.
