Nurse (2013)

Also known as The Nurse or Nurse 3D.

I made it a mission to watch all of Katrina Bowden‘s films. Some of them really suck. And this is absolutely & definitely one of them! Not much to say about this ultra lame film. If I had to make it super short, I’d say: ‘Here, you can put up to 5 stars. The film is one hour and twenty minutes long. Every 20 minutes, this film loses a star, that’s it!’

But I will still add: Paz De La Huerta is a model who was often seen almost naked and apparently she does the same in her films. She shows her body and seduces people. She doesn’t change much and especially not her famous make-up with only lipstick. The worst thing is that during part of the film I wondered if it was me or if she was playing really badly. Then I wondered if it was another bad director who asked her to overact under the pretext that it could possibly look good. Paz is ultra sexy… but she is one of those women who are like that just because of their sexy bodies… and absolutely not because of their attitude. Paz’s attitude is nothing but vulgar. And what makes me laugh is that she plays with her charm during the whole movie, when she has no charm at all! Basically, she did everything wrong thinking she was doing it right!

Katrina Bowden is still excellent… but we don’t even know what happens to her character, because it all ends up in a twist. And all this after an hour of boring, violent, gory… and (this is what spoils it, again) totally incoherent moments. It’s as if the story was created during filming as the scenes were shot. The script must not have been complete before shooting started. Or maybe all the dumbest ideas were taken into account during the shooting.

Anyway! I said an hour, because the first half hour is not bad and suggests a good film, with good justice. But it is exactly the opposite that happens! Even the title of the film is really bad!
